Santa & Mrs. Claus kicked off their busy Holiday Tour at the DeMotte Chamber Christmas event.

Children stopped to visit with Santa and receive a bag of goodies while sharing their gift wishes.
There was also an area where you could write a "Letter from Home" for the soldiers overseas.
Complimentary refreshments were served too!

The KV High School Choir made a special appearance to lead us in some Christmas Carols.

Christmas Committee Chairperson, Sally Snow (right) along with Chamber of Commerce Outreach Director Gail Jean and Chamber President Rodney Urbano served as some of "Santa's Helpers" by passing out the business donations to the full-house crowd. In addition to the generous business door prizes, CA$H was also given away.
The DeMotte Chamber sponsored $125 cash and Jasper County REMC donated a $75 cash prize giveaway.
Just one more reason for you to come out to this event.

Another Season was the recipient of the 2009 Holiday Best Dressed business.
This contest was open to all Chamber businesses that wanted to participate.
Frazier Funeral Home and New Millennium Mortgage were Honorable Mentions.
